Women's Health is part of the Women's Clinic at Linköping University Hospital. The mission of the Women's Clinic is to provide health and medical care in gynecology and obstetrics, education, and research. The main areas within Women's Health are maternal health care, specialist maternal health care, ultrasound for pregnant women including advanced fetal diagnostics, contraceptive counseling, gynecological cytology screening, and parental support.

Women's Health has clinics in the towns of Linköping, Motala, Mjölby, Åtvidaberg, and Kisa. Our operations include both small and larger clinics, providing a good variety of tasks and patient interactions.

Women's Health also has a high level of ambition in e-health and digitalization. This includes digital healthcare visits via the app "Your Care", video visits, and digital forms that are already established in the organization. In the three-year budget for 2021-2023 within Region Östergötland, "continued digitalization of operations and services" is a focus area, and a number of projects are underway.

Job Description

As a midwife, you are an important part of the change work but above all for the lives of others, based on the patient's life situation. You will work in one of the most rewarding jobs in the world! You will work with maternal health care, parental preparation, contraceptive counseling, and to some extent gynecological cytology screening. Once you have been introduced to Women's Health, it is desirable/expected that, based on experience and competence, you will rotate between some of the clinic's other units such as delivery, postpartum/gyn department, or gynecology clinic when needed. Work may take place at all of our units/clinics.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife. Previous work experience is an advantage. It is desirable that you have prescribing rights. Interest in change and development work is a prerequisite in our operations, and we place great importance on this.

You are a person who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate with both patients and colleagues. As a person, you are structured, self-driven, and stable in stressful situations. We prefer that you have a positive and professional approach where patient care is the focus.
