Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet individual needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Home Care Ekön

Home Care Ekön is a centrally located service that provides care with a focus on both users and employees. The goal is to create a workplace where personal development goes hand in hand with professional care for our customers.

The operation is characterized by shared responsibility where the group's well-being is important. Employees are each other's work environment and work together to create a respectful and safe climate.

There are opportunities to be involved in influencing the operation by contributing to the continuous development of structure and routines, as well as participating in the unit's improvement work. This happens in close collaboration within the workgroup and with a focus on the needs of the operation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nursing assistant in Motala municipality, you will provide our users with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. You will respectfully guide, support, and motivate the tenants to manage their daily routines in the best way possible based on their own abilities.

We offer a varied job focusing on daily care interventions. You will perform tasks related to personal care, support during meals, social interaction, escorting, service tasks, etc. You will also perform health and medical tasks by delegation and document in our journal systems.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will be a fixed care contact, which means you actively work to create safe and trust-based relationships. The job requires a high level of commitment and that you actively participate in developing and improving the operation.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, including holidays during day and evening hours.

The unit's area includes work in urban areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies:

• You must have completed a care and nursing education and have a finished degree.
• You are accustomed to using a computer as a support in your work and easily adapt to new digital tools.
• You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as the role involves documentation and much dialogue with colleagues and users.
• We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in care and nursing-related tasks.

• As a person, you can organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set deadlines and meet them.
• You take the initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create and maintain new relationships. You also have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now and quickly find solutions to emerging problems.
