Our Offer

We have about twenty general dental clinics with varying care perspectives and provide regional specialist dental care in the specialties of dental physiology, endodontics, oral prosthetics, orofacial medicine, orthodontics, periodontology, and pedodontics. We actively collaborate with dental faculties and Linköping University in research, offer specialist training, and work on dental quality development.

Job Description

The tasks vary depending on how far you have progressed in your education and are adapted to your own skills and experiences. You will get to try and perform clinical work, naturally connecting theory and practice. For example, you will be involved in various treatments and have the chance to see how a clinic operates.

About You

We are looking for someone studying to become a dentist (see separate ad if you wish to work on a temporary license), dental hygienist, or dental nurse, who wants to get to know Folktandvården Östergötland as an employer during the summer. You have good computer skills, and as you work in constant dialogue with patients, colleagues, and relatives, it is important that you have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.

Our expectations of you are that you do your best based on your knowledge and abilities and always focus on what we are here for – our patients. Regardless of where you work, you will be part of a team that works together for good equitable oral health. Here you will be able to utilize your natural ability to communicate and create good collaborations. At the same time, you work to ensure that each patient feels safe and well cared for. Application and Employment

Summer jobs are offered during the period of June, July, and August. The number of weeks, tasks, and schedule are determined in consultation with the clinic manager at the clinic.

The selection process is ongoing, so please send your application as soon as possible.

On January 15, February 4, and February 26, we will hold information sessions with interviews, aimed at those who have not previously summer jobbed with us.
