Henåns school currently has about 580 students from preschool class to grade 9 in basic and adapted primary school. We have over 90 staff members from various professional groups working at the school. The school consists of three units, each with its own principal: grades F-6 (with after-school care), grades 7-9, and Adapted primary school grades 1-9 (with after-school care).

At Henåns school, we work for an open climate with good cohesion, as it is important that we care for each other. We focus on health factors and try to do more of what makes students feel good and succeed in school. The entire school actively works with values-based work based on the school model PALS and the Safety Work (GRETA) Community, Respect, Empathy, Safety, and Responsibility, which are the cornerstones and value words of Henåns school. The safety team and the student health staff, together with teachers and principals, are very engaged in the school's values-based work.

Your tasks

We are now looking for someone who wants to teach our wonderful students at Henåns school F-3!

With us, you will be part of a work team where co-planning, evaluation of teaching, and co-assessment are natural parts of the work. During the spring term, you will be a mentor in grade 3 and be part of a work team together with a mentor in a parallel class. You should have a strong commitment to your students and your subjects. You should have a positive approach and be able to adapt your teaching based on the group's possibilities and conditions.

We strive for a non-prestigious work culture where we both celebrate and help each other. Our vision is that all students leaving Henåns school should have good subject knowledge, democratic values, a good self-image, and confidence in their own future.

You will participate as a teacher in the pedagogical development work and the pedagogical documentation according to the primary school's curriculum and operational goals in grades F-3.

Based on our vision, you, together with other colleagues at the school, will contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and knowledge-developing environment for each student.

About you

We are looking for you who are a strong pedagogical leader in the classroom with very good subject knowledge.

You are structured and plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching based on applicable governing documents.

You work relationally and want to contribute to creating a calm and harmonious learning environment for our students.

You are eager to develop and want to be part of conducting teaching that you can be proud of.

You should have the qualifications to teach all subjects in F-3.
