Conference Host/Hostess and Hotel Receptionist

Vann Spa Hotel and Conference is a four-star hotel located 23 km northeast of Lysekil. The hotel has 156 rooms, 8 conference rooms, and 10 group rooms. Our SPA spans 1,000 square meters with 8 pools both indoors and outdoors. There are several training, treatment, and relaxation options to choose from, all within a nature reserve right next to Gullmarsfjorden.

As a conference host/hostess and hotel receptionist at VANN Spa Hotel and Conference, you are the warm welcome that guests meet when they arrive/call us.

Our primary task is to meet our guests' wishes in all situations. The reception and care combined with joy for one's work is our main task to enhance the guests' experience and exceed their expectations.

Job responsibilities include hosting at conferences such as welcoming conference groups, coordinating and confirming arrivals, request for quotes, etc. In the hotel reception, tasks include taking care of our hotel guests, check-in and check-out, various bookings and inquiries via phone, email, and Messenger, as well as cash handling, sales, etc. There may also be periods where combined work in the private booking department is relevant.

We wish that you are cheerful and positive with a distinctive presence and that you see solutions where others see problems. Experience in sales is an advantage. A requirement is that you must be responsible and flexible. We value loyalty, creativity, and the ability to see both the big picture and the details. You should be proficient in Swedish and English in both written and spoken forms.

Work occurs during the day and evening, both on weekdays and weekends.

We are now looking for 1 position that is 80% permanent, primarily in conference hosting and reception (but may also involve combined work in private booking during certain periods).

Start date is in January or by agreement for training and introduction. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Salary according to collective agreement.
