Östra Karup School is a F-6 school with 178 students. The school is located in Östra Karup, a small community situated on the northern side of Hallandsåsen, west of the E6, and a couple of kilometers from Båstad station.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with our younger students, in the after-school program and in preschool class. You will be part of a team with certified colleagues. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to further develop learning in the after-school program and collaborate with the school so that we can together capture the students' various interests and needs.

You have a positive view of students based on the belief that all students want to and can learn. You find it important to build good and trusting relationships and have an easy time collaborating with students, colleagues, and guardians. As an educator, you are confident in your leadership role.

Our learning environment provides opportunities for creative activities and play, which means we offer plenty of play and movement in our activities both indoors and outdoors. During the after-school hours, we will have the opportunity to be in our sports hall or enjoy our wonderful outdoor environment. We also have opportunities for various forms of creative expression. We are curious about what you can contribute to create the widest possible range of activities for our fantastic students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a primary school teacher degree with a focus on after-school care, alternatively trained leisure pedagogue or other educational training. If you have recently graduated, you will be offered a mentor.
