About the roleYou will work in a team together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, and your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. In the role of occupational therapist, you will find together with the residents the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. This often involves making assessments and adapting the daily environment. You will also trial and prescribe physical and cognitive aids. You will mentor your colleagues in rehabilitative efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc. You will often also have contact with the residents' relatives.

Ametisten is a modern nursing home in Solna for people with dementia and somatic illnesses. We offer individually tailored care with heart, integrity, and choice. Ametisten has an activity profile with history, literature, film, and theater. We collaborate with, among others, the local heritage association, the cinema, and the library in Solna. Young people from Ung Omsorg visit the residence to add an extra touch to life.

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we would like you to have several years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement.
