What do we offer you?

There is now an opportunity to be part of Bjärnum's studio for grades 7-9 during the spring of 2026.

The studio operation at Bjärnum's high school currently consists of two teachers and seven student assistants, all of whom work both in the studio and in the classroom with the students. The focus is to compensate with support and remove obstacles for students who are in great need of extra assistance and help in structuring their schoolwork. This may involve providing extra explanations, teaching students who need to sit in a smaller context to focus on their schoolwork, or being a support in the classroom alongside the teaching teacher. A few students have a larger part of their instruction in the studio, while some students are there only for part of their lesson.

Your role

As a person, you are flexible and can easily adapt when conditions in the operation change. You are not a mentor but have very good and close contact with the guardians of some students in the studio. Building good relationships and a low-affect response is an obvious part of your pedagogical leadership. You collaborate with all subject teachers in the high school.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a certified teacher for grades 7-9, preferably with qualifications in Swedish, math, or English.
• Has a couple of years of experience in the teaching profession.
• Has a good ability to create trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
• Is structured and has a good ability to plan and document.
• Has experience working with students in need of special support, preferably in primary school.

About us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and staff succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Bjärnum School is a K-9 school, which together with Mala School forms a principal area. Bjärnum School has about 360 students in K-9. The leadership consists of a principal and two vice principals.

The school is located about a 15-minute drive north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is within walking distance from the station.
