The role of the therapist is to support the youth in their life situation and to conduct change work based on the care and implementation plan.
Work occurs during day/evening and every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities
Weekly therapy sessions with individual youth, as well as group therapy sessions may occur. Support the youth in a daily structure with good routines. Collaborate with the youth's network, clients, school, healthcare, etc. Daily documentation and risk assessments, report compilations, and the establishment of implementation plans. Plan and participate in activities outside the residence together with one or more youths. The job also includes common household tasks.
Personal Qualities
To succeed in this role, you need to have good analytical skills regarding the behavior of individual youth or groups of youth, be relationship-building and flexible in your working method, have the ability to create participation, and be clear and boundary-setting in a respectful manner.
Furthermore, we would like you to have a professional attitude in your work, be unpretentious, and take initiative and responsibility in the joint effort to develop the organization. You are expected to work both independently and collaboratively with others and contribute to good cooperation with our clients and other partners.
You should have good knowledge of BBIC, experience in documentation, and good language skills in Swedish.
Workplace Description
HVB Albagården works with children and young people aged 14 - 19 with psychosocial issues. We strive to provide a home-like, structured, and safe environment for the youth placed with us and offer individualized care of high quality.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education of at least 2 years is required for the position. The education should be in the fields of social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science (e.g., treatment pedagog, social pedagogue, social worker, behavioral scientist).
Driver's license B for manual transmission.
Meritorious
Experience working with youth for at least two years, preferably in round-the-clock care. Treatment work in a structured form and good knowledge and experience of working with neuropsychiatric disabilities. Further education in step 1 and other training in methods such as CBT, MI, low-arousal approach, Repulse, ART, and A-CRA. Experience in documentation according to BBIC and the journal system Journal Digital.
