The Maternity Department in Helsingborg cares for women in labor and those who have not yet given birth, including complicated deliveries. Our team consists of midwives, nursing assistants, and doctors who work to ensure that our patients have a wonderful and safe birthing experience every day. RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome new midwifery colleagues who want to develop within their field and are interested in women's health care. With us, you will be offered an interesting and stimulating job where you have good opportunities to further develop within obstetrics. In your role as a midwife with us, your task is to ensure that the pregnant and birthing woman, partner, and child are cared for in the best possible way and provided with safe and secure care.

Together with a nursing assistant, you will independently be responsible for normal deliveries, and in complicated cases, you will collaborate with doctors.

As a new colleague with us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction. We also have a mentorship program that extends over the first year of employment.

The positions involve employment for night as well as day and evening shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required, as well as a valid B driver's license. Previous work experience from maternity wards, deliveries, and/or maternal care is an advantage, as well as advanced training in breastfeeding.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and appreciates flexibility in their work, as much of the work takes place at the patient's home. Your commitment and positive attitude contribute to a good working climate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
