We are looking for a temporary case officer for the social psychiatry target group within the adult second line area in Haninge municipality.

Within the adult second line, governmental activities include target groups such as young adults, adults with dependency issues, and social psychiatry. We have accommodations in our own management for these target groups, housing support, social interventions, and our own outpatient care.

The social psychiatry investigation works with governmental activities according to the Social Services Act. The unit's overarching goal is to create conditions for increased independence for individuals within the target group. The operations are conducted based on the requirements of legislation, political goals, and the municipality's guidelines. Together, we work towards the administration's common goals. We are accessible and provide good service, we meet our residents with professionalism and respect, and we carefully manage taxpayers' money. The focus of the unit's work within governmental activities is on lawful processing and uniform assessments.

The unit's mission is to process applications from individuals, investigate the need for interventions, make decisions, and follow up on the interventions. The unit consists of seven case officers, including one senior case officer, two administrative positions that serve the entire area, and a unit manager.

Your mission

We are now looking for a substitute for full-time work. The temporary position extends until June 2026, with a possible extension.

You will primarily handle cases and investigate the need for support and interventions for individuals with mental disabilities. The target group consists of individuals aged 18-65 who primarily have mental disabilities. We generally work within the administration to develop new working methods to strengthen the work around individuals with comorbidity.

Examples of tasks:

  • Receive applications and conduct investigations to map the individual's need for interventions and make decisions on cases.
  • Collaborate both externally and internally, lead SIP, care planning, and other network meetings.
  • Document relevant information.
  • Stay updated with applicable legislation.
  • Contribute to the general development of the unit and foster a good work environment.

This is what we are looking for in you

  • Degree in social work or social work student
  • Theoretical knowledge of current legislation.
  • Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing and familiarity with the Swedish language.

Meritorious

  • Experience in governmental activities and case management within the area of mental disabilities

It is important to us that you are a stable person who can remain calm in difficult situations. You also have a solution-oriented and empathetic approach and are clear and structured in your work. You are self-driven and have the ability to take your own initiatives to ensure that the work flows smoothly. You have good collaboration skills and place great importance on providing a good reception, both internally and externally.
