The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (Bup) bipolar and psychosis reception is part of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) inpatient care and specialist clinics, and has a regional responsibility for all of Bup Skåne. The clinic is a specialized team that works with assessment and treatment of children and young people under 18 years with bipolar disorders and psychosis.

The clinic is located in Malmö and is co-located with another regional clinic, Bup Trauma. We are a small team consisting of a psychologist, a social worker, a doctor, a nurse, two caregivers, and a medical secretary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our nurse is going on parental leave, and we are now looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that helps and supports each other! You will work with engaging colleagues who have extensive experience working with our target group.

As a nurse, you will be offered a varied job with a high degree of participation and responsibility where the patient and their family are the focus. You will be responsible for the psychiatric care of the patients you are the primary contact for and participate in medication, assessment, treatment work, as well as planning and collaboration with other care providers, schools, social services, and more. We work interdisciplinary where we plan with the team the interventions that patients need. We work both at the clinic and mobile throughout Region Skåne.

As a nurse at the clinic, you will also be responsible for ensuring that pharmacological follow-ups with lab tests are conducted according to our guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. A valid B driver's license is required for the position. If you have specialized training in psychiatry, we consider it an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have completed basic training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) level 1. We would also like you to have experience with the documentation program Melior.

To succeed in your role, you are flexible while being able to set your own boundaries based on the routines and decisions made. You have an easy time seeing the big picture, adapting to changing circumstances, and have the ability to manage and prioritize when the pace is high. You value a job characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and independence.

As we work in teams, we expect you to have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment. You are responsible and enjoy working both individually and in a team.
