Organizational Specialist for the Transport Planning Unit

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and adding to our operations, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.

The Transport Department (TA) is tasked with transporting and supervising individuals deprived of their liberty. These are clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service who are moved between remand centers and prisons, to court hearings, and hospitals, among other places. TA also transports individuals deprived of their liberty on behalf of the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Migration Agency, and psychiatric services. Each year, approximately 130,000 transports are carried out, of which about 5,000 are international. The department consists of 1,200 individuals divided into 4 units.

We are now seeking an Organizational Specialist for the Transport Planning Unit, located in Arvidsjaur or Solna.
