Do you want to help shape the future of payroll work?
At Stenvalls, you can combine your interest in payroll, digitalization, and development – in a company where technology, collaboration, and innovation go hand in hand.
About the position
As a payroll administrator with us, you will be a central part of an engaged team with a high ceiling and great drive. We are currently in an exciting phase where we are modernizing and streamlining our payroll process – and we want you to be part of the journey!
You will be responsible for payroll within one or more companies in the group and work closely with both HR and finance. This is the role for you who enjoys switching between meticulous operational work and strategic development, and who sees technology as an obvious part of a smarter working life.
Furthermore, you are an important contact person both internally and externally – you support managers and employees in payroll-related questions and have ongoing dialogue with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Collaboration within the payroll group is central, and we help each other when needed, for example during peak work periods or absences.
With us, you do not just handle payroll – you develop, simplify, and streamline how the payroll process will look in the future.
Your main responsibilities
- Conduct the entire payroll process – from documentation to completed payroll and reporting.
- Manage time reporting, expense claims, pensions, wellness grants, and reconciliations.
- Interpret laws, agreements, tax regulations, and collective agreements.
- Participate in the development and system management of payroll, time, and expense reporting systems.
- Support managers and employees in payroll-related routines and systems.
- Contribute to digitalization, automation, and improvement of processes and flows.
- Participate in monitoring, reporting, and analysis of key figures.
About you
You have experience in payroll management from start to finish – and now feel that you want to take the next step. You thrive in an environment where you can use your skills to create structure, improve flows, and test new digital solutions. You are a clear communicator who can convey messages to others. You are confident in handling reporting to authorities and collective agreement parties.
You are service-oriented, provide professional support to both managers and employees, and actively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Furthermore, we believe that you are unpretentious, curious, and engaged – a person who collaborates and takes your own initiatives.
We hope you have:
- Post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or equivalent.
- Experience of the entire payroll process in both small and large organizations.
- Good knowledge of current laws, agreements, tax regulations, and collective agreements.
- Experience with systems such as Agda, Visma Expense, Quinyx, Hailey, or similar.
Personal qualities
We believe that you are analytical, meticulous, and have a knack for numbers and enjoy structure - then this job is for you. Furthermore, we expect you to be a team player who sees solutions rather than obstacles and inspires others in your environment.

Here you get both the security of an established company and the opportunity to be part of something new – as we build the payroll function of the future.
