Job Responsibilities

In the role of accounting economist, you have overall responsibility for the company's accounting, where you independently prepare and report both monthly and annual financial statements (for both the company and the group). You are also responsible for ensuring that the accounting is done in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, and internal guidelines. In addition, you act as an operational support to the finance assistants and serve as a sounding board on issues related to daily transactions and ongoing work.

Together with the team, you develop our routines and processes as we constantly work to improve the business.

The work involves many points of contact within the company, which means you will have a broad and varied workday. Your immediate manager is the CFO, and you will work with Niemi Bil as well as the group's other companies.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an academic education in finance (or experience deemed equivalent)
• 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Experience in group accounting
• Good proficiency in the Office suite, primarily Excel
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English

It is also an advantage if you have experience with the following systems:

• Fortnox, Visma.net, Business Central
• Infoflex
• Capego
• Boardeaser, Oxceed, Power BI

You are analytical and have the ability to see both the big picture and details depending on what the task requires. You enjoy working both independently and in a group, and you are eager to take the initiative for improvements. You have the ability to prioritize your work and complete your tasks in a timely manner and with good quality. The work involves contacts both internally and externally and requires that you have good collaboration skills and the ability to build good relationships.

Other

You will work at the headquarters in Luleå. The position is full-time and starts with a 6-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
