About the Role and Your Responsibilities

In the role of special teacher with us, you will be involved in shaping the work with our newly started special education group.

You will teach students who need special support and work to promote their learning and development.

You will have primary responsibility for the special education group, which will consist of approximately five students from mixed grades ranging from grade 1 to 6. Together with other staff in the teaching group, you will plan and teach students in all theoretical subjects.

As a special teacher, you will work closely with your colleagues to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment. You will play an important role in mapping, following up, and analyzing students' knowledge development.

This is a permanent position with a holiday service.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with experience working with students in grades F-6. You have a special education degree, and it is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a special teacher and in a special education group.

You need to have a strong drive and can work just as well independently as with others. To succeed in the role of special teacher, we expect you to be engaged, responsive, and flexible, as well as having a good ability to collaborate. You can create lasting and good relationships with both students and guardians. We are looking for someone who wants to work on creating adapted and meaningful teaching for challenging students.

About the Workplace

At Genarps School, we have about 300 students in grades 4-9. We care about creating good relationships with each other and with our students. In our current development work, we focus on safety and study peace.

Häckebergaskolan in Genarp is a F-3 school located by Romeleåsen amidst fantastic nature. At the school, we have about 40 employees who together create a good learning environment for our 200 students every day. Just a stone's throw from the school are the nature areas Risen and Ekevallens sports field with trails for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Thanks to the proximity to nature, we have good opportunities for outdoor education, for example, in our outdoor classroom or at Häckeberga Kvarn, where we often spend our outdoor days.
