We are now looking for three dedicated employees for Brattska Gården's nursing home! With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a meaningful and developing environment where we together create conditions for our residents to achieve an increased quality of life.

Workplace

Brattska Gården is located in Vålberg and consists of five departments. The nursing home primarily targets individuals with dementia. Brattska Gården has a total of 48 places distributed among the departments Pilen, Almen, Syrenen, Linden, and Kastanjen.

We actively work to create an environment that promotes both safety and good care. The residents mainly consist of elderly individuals with dementia, but there is also a mix of different diagnoses and needs.

The nursing home is aimed at elderly individuals with dementia according to the Social Services Act, SoL. We actively work to create an environment that promotes both safety and good care.

Working Hours

Day and evening shifts during weekdays and every other weekend. We need to staff our pool, which means your shifts will be assigned to departments based on the needs within the nursing home. We work together in a team and have staff on-site around the clock, where we actively work to create a supportive and learning work environment.

Job Responsibilities

We work to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for individuals with dementia. Together with the care recipient, we design individual interventions that strengthen independence and participation. The work involves various tasks, such as personal care, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and motivating social interaction and activities. You will actively work with contact person responsibilities, implementation plans, and social documentation. We work with quality registers BPSD and Senior Alert and document what we do in the operational system Treserva.

The job also involves collaboration with other professionals such as nurses, rehabilitation staff, and cognitive teams to provide comprehensive support to the care recipients. This means that you will perform delegated tasks, including medication management.

Based on the assignment, you have a genuine interest in people, a strong sense of good care and the individual's integrity, as well as a good approach. You see opportunities rather than obstacles, and we welcome your new thoughts and ideas for our operations!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or has equivalent education, and it is an advantage if you have experience working with elderly people and individuals with dementia diagnoses. Language is used as a working tool in contact with care recipients as well as in documentation and record-keeping. A prerequisite for the job is therefore that you have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. Experience with Treserva and BPSD that we work with is also an advantage.

We work in teams and are looking for a colleague with good collaboration skills who can solve various situations constructively. We want you to be self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks while being attentive to others' needs and able to give and receive feedback. Your personal maturity helps you read different situations, and your flexibility makes you open to changes, contributing to continuous improvements in the work.
