Your Workplace

The Nephrology Clinic is responsible for specialized kidney care in Värmland. Ward 33 is a medical acute care unit with expertise in nephrology. Here we work with the investigation of kidney diseases and preparations for hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). We care for both acutely ill patients and patients in a more stable condition, from 18 years and older. The length of stay varies from a few days to several weeks, providing a dynamic and educational work environment.

Your Responsibilities

The tasks as a junior doctor vary depending on the area of work. The job involves individual responsibility under supervision. We believe that healthcare must be based on our patients' needs and the competencies of our staff.

Your Knowledge and Skills

We are looking for you who will complete at least semester 10 of your medical education in Sweden or another EU/EEA country by spring 2026 or have graduated from your medical education in Sweden or another EU/EEA country. You must have passed the courses and exams within the medical field that the temporary position concerns. You also need to have a passing grade in SVA3, C1, or eligibility for higher education studies, or a passing knowledge test.

As a person, you are outgoing, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy taking responsibility together with the rest of the team, focusing on high patient safety and quality in care. You are an initiative-taking, clear, and structured person with a good pedagogical approach.
