The Day Care Department is part of the Children's Clinic.

Here, children in need of day surgery are cared for, and we encounter most of the various specialties in healthcare, including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, and oncology. This reflects the comprehensive and versatile care we offer our patients and their families.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include preparations for various examinations, administering medication treatments, and specific nursing measures, as well as telephone advice.

As a pediatric nurse, you will be responsible for the daily operations in day care together with colleagues, closely collaborating with departments 12 and 11, the specialist outpatient clinic, and the emergency department for children and youth. In daily interactions with patients, you, along with other staff categories, play an important role.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in pediatrics, who has a strong drive and commitment to improving the health of children and adolescents. Experience in gastroenterology, nutrition, and oncology within pediatric care is an advantage.

You are someone who appreciates variety in tasks and pace and enjoys working both independently and in a team. You have a strong drive and commitment to improving the health of children and adolescents. Your ability to adapt to different levels of care and to see the whole picture in the patient's and family's situation, along with your passion for supporting and caring for young patients and their families, is something we value highly.
