The Karlsvik department is a discharge preparation department located in Höör and is a branch of SiS youth home Hässleholm. The department focuses on young people who are in the transition phase and who are not assessed to be in need of care in locked forms. As night staff with us, you work approximately from 20:45 to 08:10, awake night shifts.

Qualifications

To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations, and you share SiS's values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are secure in yourself and easily build relationships with both young people and other staff members. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can handle conflicts constructively.

You should also have:

  • A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) focusing on social/pedagogical treatment work or equivalent education from a university that we assess as comparable
  • A valid driver's license (B)
