Business Developer in Digitalization & Innovation

Do you want to create value through digital innovation and new technology that makes a difference for Sweden's energy supply?

We are now looking for a business developer for the Digitalization & Innovation unit who will contribute to increasing the pace of the introduction and use of new technology as a value creator for the entire Swedish Transmission Network.

The Swedish Transmission Network is a key player in the energy transition. Our IT division is growing to enable a doubled electricity production and a fossil-free future. With new technology, we increase both the infrastructure's capacity and the pace of development within digitalization and processes.

About the position

As a business developer in digital innovation and AI, you will play a key role in translating new technology into concrete value for the entire Swedish Transmission Network's operations. You will work closely with the business to understand needs, identify solutions, and drive the implementation of new technology. You will become part of an ambitious team with both broad and deep expertise in strategy and technology. As a team, we always want a little more – we challenge ourselves and our surroundings to create real benefits.

Examples of tasks

  • Identify needs in the business and drive the implementation of new technology, with a strong focus on AI.
  • Increase the use and effectiveness of AI through training and change management.
  • Lead the work of managing technical, security, and legal prerequisites for new technology and create anchoring among key stakeholders.
  • Drive investigations and smaller projects that promote digital innovation from idea to value-creating solution.

You will have the opportunity to participate in courses, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in AI and digital innovation. You will also be able to develop within the future energy technology at the central player in Sweden for the energy transition.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who enjoys achieving results together with colleagues. To thrive in the role, we see that you are solution-oriented and place importance on staying informed and learning new things within your profession. As a person, you are organized and good at planning and completing what you start. You are a doer who can lift your gaze and see the whole picture, as well as a very skilled communicator. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

You have an academic degree from a college or university, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:

  • Experience in driving projects to integrate generative AI into business processes.
  • Experience in identifying and translating new technology into business benefits based on needs in the organization.
  • Experience in driving change in larger organizations, including creating anchoring and progress in complex structures.
  • Documented experience in driving investigations and projects and transforming complex issues into clear decision-making materials for management level – preferably with experience from advisory or consulting work.
  • Experience in business or operational development.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have experience in training and/or increasing the capability of others in new technology or working methods.

  • The position is located in Sundbyberg.
  • Possibility for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
