We believe in autonomous teams, participation, and development – both for the individual and the organization. This is an opportunity to influence how SVT produces programs across the country and thus continue to reach millions of viewers every day.
We Offer You

- Discuss solutions and architecture in teams and mob or pair program as needed
Your Team and Workplace
You will be part of an autonomous team with five other developers and a product owner. We collaborate closely with both operations and the business, focusing on creating value for users. Much of the work takes place from the office, so we meet on-site 3–4 days a week. The office is centrally located in Stockholm on Oxenstiernsgatan.
The position is classified in a security class, and a security check with background verification will be conducted before employment. This means that Swedish citizenship is required.
More About You
We are in the midst of a transformation journey with the ambition to modernize both our working methods and technology stack. Therefore, you should enjoy working in technically complex environments and value finding new solutions together with your colleagues. As part of the team, you will have significant influence over everything from architecture to technology choices and the team's working methods.
You have documented experience working with network programming and developing mission-critical products. You are comfortable primarily with Python and development in a Linux environment. Experience with JavaScript, C, FFmpeg, and broadcast products like CasparCG, OBS, and vMix is a plus. You are also comfortable learning new programming languages and frameworks as needed.
It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of:
- Modern protocols, databases, message buses, focusing on low latency
- Modern CI/CD tools
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Experience integrating with hardware
