The Education Administration operates for 3,500 children and students within preschool and pedagogical care, primary school, high school, adult education, and child and student health. The education administration also includes the municipality's food department.

We are now looking for a study guide in Romani. The work is located at various schools where students of different ages, with Romani as their mother tongue, study.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities consist of guiding and supporting students with Romani as their mother tongue in various school subjects and at different schools. You will translate certain words and concepts from Swedish to Romani and review the instructions of the teaching teacher once more, with the support of the Romani language. The job responsibilities may also involve working individually with students who have Romani as their mother tongue as a support measure during certain sessions.

The position is a temporary position of 30-40% with immediate start. The fixed-term employment lasts until March 27, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

To fit this role as a study guide, you should have very good knowledge of the Romani language, specifically in the Arli dialect. Experience in pedagogical work or working with children and young people is an advantage.

As a person, you should be positive, engaged, and flexible, and have an easy time collaborating with students, teachers, and other school staff.
