Within the department of authority/open care, you will have colleagues who work with authority exercise across the entire social services area and with open care aimed at children, families, and adults. You will also have colleagues working at the Family House. We are a department with a strong focus on development and improvement work, and we are currently fully engaged in transitioning to the new social services act and we expect you to be part of that journey. We have a competency development plan that offers you the opportunity to participate in competency-enhancing initiatives regardless of experience and knowledge level within the profession. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an LSS case officer with us, you will investigate, assess, decide, and follow up on needs for both children, youth, and adults primarily based on LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) but also to some extent based on SoL (the Social Services Act) for those who are covered by the LSS group and need support in daily life (housing support). Collaboration with, among others, service providers, the region, and schools is a large part of your work.

Your investigative work includes conversations with the individual, relatives, and legal representatives. Documentation is part of your work. It is important that you have an interest in the target group and are keen to adapt your working methods according to the needs of the individuals you meet.

You will work alongside two other LSS case officers. You will participate in business development and collaborate with colleagues and managers within Klippan municipality to contribute to a well-functioning and qualitative operation. In our daily work, we all have a common focus on a good working environment combined with high quality in our delivery to our citizens.

You will be part of the Authority Assistance/LSS unit. In the unit, we are 14 people working with case management according to the Social Services Act, LSS, transport services, fees, estates, and alcohol and serving permits. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop the operations, your own competence, and our shared good working environment through close leadership.

Systems you will work in include LifeCare and Mina planer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Social work degree or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent

Other education that the employer assesses as equivalent: for example, previous social care education.

Driver's license B.
