Do you want to drive business in excavation materials and circular construction flows? Apply for the KAM position at Biototal!

This is a role for you who enjoys doing business in excavation materials and construction flows and wants to be part of our investment in the construction industry. We are looking for someone with a large network in construction, transport, or earthworks, who is driven by building relationships. You will work with reuse, environment, and smart material management in a growing company that believes in circular economy. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence and drive the business from the first meeting to the final solution. Welcome with your application!

Your employment offer

At Biototal, you will be part of a team that works closely together, with clear drive and focus forward. You will have freedom with responsibility, the opportunity to try out ideas, and be involved in building new businesses from the ground up. Decision-making paths are short, and we solve things together, quickly and concretely. Here, you will work on issues that make a real difference and contribute to circular flows in construction and civil engineering.

We offer a company car, private health insurance, wellness benefits, and 30 days of vacation, as well as flexibility to work partially remotely. You will be covered by a collective agreement with secure pension and insurance solutions (ITP1, parental salary, AGS, TGL, etc.) and receive modern equipment that makes work smooth both in the field and in the office.

Your responsibilities

The role involves actively working to identify, develop, and drive business in excavation materials, by-products, and construction materials. You will play a key role in finding the right flows and business opportunities, both with existing and new customers. An important part of your daily work is to contact actors in construction, earthworks, and logistics, understand their needs, and create long-term business relationships.

The work includes both purchasing and allocation, where you follow the material through the entire chain and ensure that the business is profitable, sustainable, and practically feasible. You will collaborate closely with the environmental team, transport management, and other internal functions to ensure that each business deal lands correctly and that the delivery works in practice. The role requires you to maintain the overall picture, see opportunities in the flows, and drive the process forward until the business is secured.

Good to know

The position is based in Mälardalen, with the possibility of an office in Uppsala or Karlstad. Travel and overnight stays may occur, but you will largely plan your own daily schedule. You will be part of an engaged and close-knit team that works closely together across business areas and helps each other with both customers and contacts. The role reports to the procurement manager.

Our expectations

We believe you have experience from construction, contracting, transport, or a similar business where you have gained a good understanding of material flows, allocation, and collaboration between different actors. You have likely held a role where you used your network and business acumen to find opportunities and drive business forward. Perhaps you have worked as a transport manager, salesperson, site manager, purchaser, or in a similar function with responsibility for flows and customer relationships.

You do not need to know all legal requirements or environmental regulations from the start; we will support you internally, but you need to have a good understanding of business logic and be confident in negotiations. A B driver's license and fluent Swedish are required.
