We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant or caregiver for Attendo Hemse. 

Hemse Elderly Home is centrally located in Hemse on southern Gotland and offers a safe, homely environment with 40 ground-floor apartments. There are shared dining rooms, social areas, and a lovely garden, close to a health center and services. The care is characterized by consideration, commitment, and competence.

About the role

As a nursing assistant or caregiver with us, you create security and comfort for our elderly. You provide good care and support, contribute to a positive atmosphere during meals, and organize activities that brighten up everyday life.

Your duties include, among others:

  • Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the individual needs and wishes of the customer
  • If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.
  • Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions
  • Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, in speech and writing
  • Good computer skills/computer familiarity

Meritorious:

  • Experience from care work in elderly care
  • Experience in delegation.
  • Nursing assistant education with a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare

Summary

Role: Nursing Assistant or Caregiver

Employment type: permanent with a 6-month probationary period

Working hours: 75-80%

Working time: Daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Start date: By agreement
