Job Advertisement: Nurse for the Heart Clinic

The Heart Clinic

The Heart Clinic is a specialist clinic for patients with heart diseases such as coronary artery disease, valve disorders, heart failure, arrhythmias, and congenital heart defects.

The Pacemaker Clinic is part of the Heart Clinic, where patients with pacemakers and various heart disorders are followed up.

At the Heart Clinic, two permanent nurses work together with four nurses from the heart department and the emergency department who have clinic shifts equivalent to a third nursing position. We are now expanding with a part-time position and prioritize competence for the Pacemaker Clinic. There is an opportunity for an extended position up to full-time in the heart department if desired.

We work together with cardiologists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We collaborate with the ICU, heart department, and primary care. We share a common nursing assistant position with the other medical clinics.

Your Responsibilities

Work at the Pacemaker Clinic includes follow-ups, telephone advice, and patient visits for patients with pacemakers. Work at the Heart Clinic includes medication dosing, telephone advice, and patient visits. The tasks are varied and provide a stimulating work environment.

Who Are You?

You who are applying are a licensed nurse and have pacemaker competence. It is an advantage if you have experience and competence in cardiac care and/or emergency care.

You have worked as a nurse for several years and preferably have experience from emergency care and cardiology.

Before a hiring decision, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
