Wisby Söder is Gotland's largest health center in terms of registered patients.

We strive for continuity, patient safety, and a good environment for both patients and staff. We are now looking for an assistant nurse to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an assistant nurse for Wisby Söder health center. The work is scheduled on weekdays, but work also occurs during weekends and public holidays when assistant nurses in primary care work certain days in the primary care emergency department alongside doctors.

As an assistant nurse in primary care, you will be involved in taking samples from our patients - ranging from children to the elderly. You will also perform EKGs, wound dressings, and assist in surgeries. You may also get to perform bladder scans and sometimes place or assist in the placement of urinary catheters.

Who Are You?

You are a trained assistant nurse. Experience working in a health center is an advantage.

An assistant nurse at a health center has a very central role, and you need to be responsible and meticulous. We prefer that you work well independently, but you should also be able to collaborate with other professionals in a responsive and respectful manner. We appreciate experience in both sampling and wound dressing, and the ability to meet people of different ages and life stages.

You have a B driver's license.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
