At Långshyttans Health Center, you will work in a team with nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and therapists to provide good and safe care with the patient in focus.

Långshyttans Health Center is located in Hedemora municipality and has about 5200 registered patients. The health center employs district physicians, physicians in training, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, therapists, and medical secretaries. We have district/nurse reception, nursing assistant reception, physician reception, lab, rehab, and therapy reception. We also have a child health center and a maternal health center.

District Physician for our team at Långshyttans Health Center Job Responsibilities

As a district physician with us, you will have the opportunity to take overall responsibility for the patients belonging to your team together with a nurse and a nursing assistant. Time is allocated twice a week for team rounds with the nurse and nursing assistant to discuss questions regarding patients with greater care needs or those requiring team-based interventions. Rounds on-site with the nurse in the municipality regarding patients enrolled in home care, as well as time allocated for home visits every week. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician and a specialist in general medicine

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal qualities such as independence, teamwork ability, and flexibility.
