The habilitation service is a county-wide specialist operation located in five places in Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta. Each unit has Child and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation. We work in interdisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The habilitation service has an important and challenging mission to make life more possible for children, young people, and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities and their relatives. The interventions should contribute to a functioning everyday life, good quality of life, and participation in society. The positions are primarily located at our reception in Borlänge, but other locations can be discussed. As a psychologist, you will work closely with other professionals at the habilitation service. The work with us is varied as you are responsible for both psychological treatment work, conducting assessments, diagnosing, and performing functional evaluations, as well as mapping needs and providing individually tailored interventions. You will also provide therapeutic interventions and training and support to the individual, relatives, staff, and others in the individual's network. You will be offered an introductory program, access to a mentor and supervisor, and you will be part of a professional team together with psychologist colleagues in the organization. Travel to other receptions in the county may be included in the position, and these will be done during working hours.

Requirements:

• licensed psychologist

Desirable:

• previous experience from habilitation
• knowledge of various disabilities
• experience in counseling and assessment with good knowledge of testing methodology
• experience working with children
