We are now looking for a Backend Lead Developer for Farsight Tech Nordic in Skövde.

As a Backend Lead Developer, you will lead the development and maintenance of server, application, and database-driven functionality behind the company's web and software applications. You will play a crucial role in developing robust and secure systems that meet customer needs. The role also requires a good understanding of frontend development and how it is implemented to ensure a cohesive user experience and correctly executed implementation overall.

Responsibilities:
• System Development: Develop and maintain the server-side of applications. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Database Management: Design and implement databases, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
• API Development: Create and maintain efficient APIs for frontend integration.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, as well as improve application performance.
• Security Aspects: Implement security measures and enable secure data.
• Collaboration with Other Developers: Work closely with other developers to ensure system integrity and a cohesive user experience.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of code and system architecture.

Qualifications and Competencies:
• Relevant education in computer science, IT, or related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience working with server and API development.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
• Understanding of frontend: Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, React Native, Angular, Vue.js).
• Collaboration in Projects: Ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers and other developers to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.

Desirable Qualities:
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
• Attention to detail and a strong desire to continuously improve systems and processes.

The position is a permanent, full-time role and involves direct employment at Farsight Tech Nordic.
