About us:

Preschool AB Kolibri has been around since 1997 and consists of two preschools located in the Gideonsberg area and in the city center. For us, the child's play, joyful learning, and the competent child's curiosity are in focus. The educators work closely with the children, and we learn together in an open and family-like atmosphere where we blend learning, play, and care into a whole.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a pedagogical university education with experience from preschool activities
• Has leadership experience
• Is well acquainted with the Education Act, Lpfö 18, and other governing documents regarding preschool activities and has a good ability to implement these in practice
• Is communicative and clear in your leadership
• Is interested in development issues and has a strategic approach where follow-up and evaluation are something you feel comfortable with
• Has a clear leadership style with enthusiasm and joy in the work
• Includes and engages colleagues in collegial learning
• Has an easy time creating good relationships with guardians and other partners
• Has the ability to offer children a fun, safe, and learning preschool time as a foundation for lifelong learning
• Has good written and oral skills in both Swedish and English

Responsibilities:

As a preschool teacher, you have operational responsibility, which means that together with the principal and colleagues, you lead, plan, and drive the pedagogical development of the preschool unit in a quality-conscious manner in accordance with laws, goals, and governing documents. The area of responsibility includes working in the children's group, maintaining close contact with guardians, and engaging in collegial learning and collaboration with other colleagues.
