We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We would like you to have an easy time collaborating with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to the children's needs. You should have a natural leadership instinct and be confident in your role as a preschool teacher.

Qualifications:

• Qualified preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• You are well acquainted with the curriculum's goals regarding teaching and learning.
• You have experience working and leading systematic quality work at the group level.
• You have good knowledge of Office365
• Previous experience in preschool operations is highly meritorious

Norlandia Preschools Lövudden is located in southern Västerås, near beautiful green areas by Lake Mälaren. We have bright and nice premises adapted to children's play and teaching. Through a project-based working method, we ensure that each child and their thoughts and ideas are valued in education.

The children attending our preschool primarily live in Lövudden, Enhagen, Ekbacken, and Barkarö.

The preschool has 4 departments with about 80 children.

At Norlandia Preschools, we offer you professional development every term based on the preschool's prioritized goals and initiatives. You will be part of our unique concepts, professional development days at the preschool, central initiatives, and offerings through our digital learning platform.

Employment type: Permanent with a probationary period

Extent: 100%

Working hours: Daytime, meeting times in the evenings may occur

Start date: Aug 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
