About the Position

We are looking for a qualified high school teacher in programming for the spring, the position is a permanent employment between 85-100% depending on subject combination. The teaching will be in both the Technology Program and our Electrical and Energy Program with a focus on Computer and Communication Technology. You will teach Programming 1 and 2, Applied Programming, and Information Technology Level 1.

You who are applying are a qualified high school teacher with good subject knowledge and a strong pedagogical ability; we expect you to contribute with inspiration and engage students in learning based on their different needs and to vary your teaching.

Furthermore, you find it easy to build trust with students and guardians; the teaching role may include mentorship. You value close collaboration with colleagues and are receptive to others' knowledge, always striving to develop your teaching and participate in collegial learning.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We will call for interviews on an ongoing basis, and therefore the position may be filled before the application deadline.

NTI Gymnasiet Västerås

The school has been in the same premises since 2003. The premises are fresh and recently renovated. We have three high school programs: the Technology Program, the Aesthetic Program, and the IT Program. In addition to these, we also train TE4 High School Engineers who study a technical fourth year focusing on software design.

The school is a certified Teknikcollege, which is a quality stamp on the education and enables many exciting collaborations with the business community.

The position is a permanent employment, vacation service, 100%. We always apply a six-month probationary period, and if you are offered employment, you are obliged to present an extract from the criminal record before the employment contract takes effect.
