About the position

At NTI Gymnasiet Västerås, we are looking for a qualified Swedish teacher for a temporary position of 60-100% depending on subject combination, primarily during the spring term, with good chances for continued employment during the autumn term of 2026.

The position includes teaching primarily Swedish in the aesthetic program and the electrical and energy program for students who have chosen the higher education preparatory track, as well as mentorship for a class of technology students. It is an advantage if you are also trained or qualified in design subjects and English.

We want you to be an engaged and skilled teacher who can build good relationships with both students and guardians. You have good subject knowledge and a strong pedagogical ability, along with a genuine interest in sparking curiosity and a desire to learn. You can adapt your teaching to the different needs of students and create a safe and motivating learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop.

NTI Gymnasiet Västerås

The school has been located in the same premises since 2003, centrally in Västerås above the art museum. The premises are fresh and recently renovated. We have three high school programs: the technology program, the aesthetic program, and the electrical and energy program. In addition, we also train TE4 High School Engineers who study a technical fourth year with a focus on software design.

The school is a certified Teknikcollege, which is a quality stamp on education and enables many exciting collaborations with the business community.

Other

The position is a fixed-term employment contract until June 30, 2026, or continued employment until January 4, 2027, holiday service, 60-100% depending on subject combination. We always apply a probationary period, and upon employment, a certificate from the police's criminal record must be presented.

Start date is January 7, 2026, at NTI Gymnasiet Västerås.
