About Us

ENT is a relatively small department with approximately 130 employees and we have a high patient turnover, around 35,000 per year.

We have nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, dietitians, speech therapists, anaplastologists, and medical secretaries working closely together. We work with patients of all ages, from emergency care to outpatient services for patients with head and neck cancer.

We have a non-prestigious climate where we all help each other and share our knowledge for the best care of the patient.

What Can We Offer You?

We can offer a varied and qualified job for you as a nurse. We have emergency services, planned outpatient clinics (own clinic or in teams with other professions), telephone advice, and contact nurse assignments. We can also offer opportunities for research. You will work weekdays during daytime. If you work as a contact nurse, training will be provided during working hours.

About You

We are looking for a registered nurse. Experience in ENT or cancer care is an advantage. To thrive with us, you should enjoy a varied job, be confident in your professional role, and work with acutely ill patients. You value good interactions with both colleagues and patients.

Together for the patient - Sahlgrenska University Hospital

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. In addition, it also includes service in at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

If recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign qualifications, the relevant position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualifications.
