Are you our new Spanish teacher?
We warmly welcome your application today. We have high satisfaction and very good results in the employee survey!
About the workplace
The schools of Helsingborg are a resourceful and value-driven organization. Here, as an employee, you become an important part of our shared vision to create the best school for every child and student.
Maria Park School is Helsingborg's largest primary school, located in northern Helsingborg. Approximately 1000 students attend, of which about 400 participate in after-school activities. The school is beautifully situated in Maria Park and in a newly built area in Mariastaden. The area offers proximity to Pålsjöskog, the beach, the sea, and the city's pulse. Our operations cover grades F-9, after-school care, and adapted primary school.
Maria Park School is a multifaceted school where we strive to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment for all students. We systematically work with quality and development to ensure good teaching and a safe school environment for our students.
Job responsibilities
Are you a driven Spanish teacher looking for new challenges? Then take the chance to become part of the wonderful community at Maria Park School in a fun and developing role!
You will be part of our teacher teams, both subject teams and work groups, working together on students' development and learning. You will be offered a varied job where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching. You collaborate with other educators, guardians, student health services, and school leadership to create a context that benefits students' learning. As an educator, you have great opportunities to develop in your professional role both in your teaching team and together with other teachers at the school.
Qualifications
You are a licensed teacher and have the qualifications to teach the subject of Spanish. It is, of course, an advantage if you have competence/qualifications to teach in other subjects. Your role as a teacher is to work with others in the team to create the best conditions for each student to succeed in their learning. To thrive at Maria Park School, it is important that you have a strong commitment to the subject.
It is important that you can encourage and engage both students and colleagues to make learning at the school as positive as possible. You find it easy to build relationships and have a professional approach towards both students, guardians, and colleagues.
The security in your professional role is combined with clarity and a leadership that creates safety and study peace. A clear leadership that inspires creativity and curiosity is one of your most important tasks. You see the benefit of collaborating with other professional categories to create the best learning environment. Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and pedagogical innovation are therefore a requirement. You also need to be comfortable making decisions independently when necessary. You have a good scientific basis to stand on in shaping the operations. Since certain work may occur in adapted primary school, it is interesting if you have qualifications as a special educator/special teacher in this area.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We apply ongoing selection, so welcome with your application today!
