The habilitation in Västernorrland is a county-wide operation with about 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. We work in child/adolescent/adult teams with an interdisciplinary approach representing medical, neuropsychological, social, and educational fields.

At the habilitation reception, we work from an interdisciplinary perspective. The target group for habilitation is individuals with permanent disabilities, with the largest groups being autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities. We see great advantages in teamwork where occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists are included. The team also collaborates with habilitation doctors and nurses. Good cooperation among professional groups is essential for quality work with patients and their relatives/networks.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist to join the team! The position is a temporary contract until 2026-08-31, full-time, with a possibility of extension. Start date is according to agreement.

Occupational Therapist for Habilitation Youth/Adult, Sundsvall

You will be an important part of our team where we all help each other with our shared patients. Teamwork includes, among other things:

• Assessments
• Evaluations
• Treatments
• Assistive device trials
• Follow-ups

As an occupational therapist, you will also work with:

• Collaboration and training for networks and staff

As an occupational therapist, you will work closely with physiotherapists but will receive support from the entire team. We are looking for someone who wants to work on issues related to helping our patients transition from adolescence to adulthood.

• Has a B driver's license
