The Western Primary Care Area has a hospital and five region-operated health centers. The area includes two municipalities. Organizationally, the primary care area also includes the special assignments of Primary Care, which are Regional Operations, Youth Clinics, Psychological Clinics for parental and child health care, Child and Youth Mental Health Entrance for ages 7-17, 1177 Healthcare Guide by phone, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. The Western Primary Care Area has about 300 employees and four operations managers.

The Emergency Department in Sollefteå is part of the Western Primary Care Area. In the emergency department, we work in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants.

We are now looking for 2 nurses for the Emergency Department in Sollefteå. The positions are permanent full-time employment with start dates according to agreement.

Nurse for the Emergency Department, Sollefteå

Working as a nurse in the emergency department means a varied job as you meet and care for patients of all ages with a wide range of diagnoses. Here, we meet all patients before decisions are made regarding further treatment, and we have a good and close collaboration with other units within specialized care.

Your role includes

• Prioritizing and distributing tasks within the team
• Medication management
• Patient care
• Assessment and prioritization of patients
• Performing examinations and treatments
• Assisting the doctor with treatments, examinations, and sample collections
• Advising and guiding patients regarding self-care, among other things.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written forms
