Department 26 B in Sundsvall is part of the Local Health Care Area South, and we have 12 beds focused on stroke/neurology. We work in teams based on a rehabilitative approach. The goal is for patients to regain their functional ability in daily activities as much as possible. We work with Hjärnvägen to provide the fastest care for acute stroke patients.

We are now looking for nurses to join our team for a permanent position. This is a role for you who are interested in both acute care and ward work, as you will get to work with both aspects here. We strive for a work environment with open communication where you, as a nurse, are recognized for your competence. Together, we can achieve most things, and we as a workgroup care for our patients and each other. In the department, we apply the opportunity to work 85 percent with 100 percent salary for a period.

The positions are permanent with day/evening shifts or night shifts. Start date is according to agreement.

Nurses for Stroke, Neurology, Dept. 26B, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will perform standard duties in the department and work in a team with doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. At the start, we will set up an individual onboarding plan in consultation with you, and everyone working in the department will receive stroke compensation training through the department.

Additional InformationQualifications

We are looking for you who

  • Are a licensed nurse
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

  • Have experience in stroke care and/or neurology
