The County Activity for Child and Adolescent Medicine is a specialized pediatric medical service for children and young people aged 0-17 years within both outpatient and inpatient care. The assignment includes both assessment and treatment at the clinic (acute and planned), day care, care on the ward (neonatal and general pediatric care), and home care (SSIH). The county activity has 4 departments with a total of 34 beds primarily for pediatric patients but also provides beds for patients from other services such as orthopedics, surgery, BUP, and sometimes adult patients to relieve the adult side. The outpatient care service is located in four places: Sollefteå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. The inpatient care service is located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik, where we also have play therapy for our patients. The total number of employees in the organization is approximately 200, led by a head of operations, eight unit managers, and two doctors with medical management assignments. We are now looking for a junior doctor for our medical unit in Sundsvall. The position is a full-time temporary position for 6 months with a start date of 2026-02-09, or by agreement.

Junior Doctor for Child and Adolescent Medicine, Sundsvall

We offer a position as a junior doctor in child and adolescent medicine that naturally meets all requirements from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You will receive a good introduction.

We focus on a good working environment and quality education. We also have an internal training program and simulation exercises together with other professional categories.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in medical work within the target group
• Have a B driver's license
