JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an occupational therapist for a temporary position until 2026-08-31.

The work of the occupational therapist is very varied; you prioritize and organize your workday both independently and together with your colleagues based on the cases you are responsible for. The practical work is mainly located in the patients' homes in regular or special housing.

We have a close interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, case managers/social workers, and unit managers who are in contact with the patient. We also participate in regular team conferences with care staff and other healthcare personnel. We train staff in the Social Services Act and Health and Medical Services Act in a rehabilitative approach.

We meet people of various ages, although most are elderly. Based on the patient's activity ability, we assess, for example, the need for training, compensatory measures such as aids or environmental adaptations, or offer guidance and instruction to the patient, relatives, and care staff.

The responsibilities are geographically divided, but we work from our common location, which provides good collegial support in daily work as well as opportunities for professional development together.

The workplace consists of seven positions for occupational therapists and six positions for physiotherapists.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who

• is a licensed occupational therapist
• has a professional and good approach, is easy to collaborate with but also comfortable working independently.
• is positive and contributes to a good work environment and business development
• has a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have experience in municipal health and medical care.
