The forensic psychiatric regional clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). The clinic is also tasked with caring for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). The clinic is facing an expansion where the number of departments will increase to 10 and the number of care places to 135.

We are now looking for a caregiver to join our team. The position is a full-time temporary position starting on 2026-03-02 or by agreement, until 2026-05-24.

Caregiver for the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, Ward 95, Sundsvall

As a caregiver at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you are part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care.

You will, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up care and nursing interventions
• Accompany patients during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Support patients in daily activities
• Contribute to the ongoing operations of the ward as part of a health-promoting context. This may include cleaning, running errands, preparing meals, and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues

We are looking for someone who

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is a trained nursing assistant/caregiver or has other training that the employer considers relevant for the position

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working in forensic psychiatry or correctional care
• Have a B driver's license
