The Rehabilitation Unit at Sollefteå Hospital consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, dietitians, and rehabilitation assistants. We are now looking for an occupational therapist for a permanent position in the Occupational Therapy Department in Sollefteå. The position is a full-time permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

Occupational Therapist for the Occupational Therapy Department, Sollefteå

As an occupational therapist at Sollefteå Hospital, you will work with:

• Patient work both in the ward and within outpatient services.
• Assessment and rehabilitation within day rehabilitation and hand rehabilitation.
• Interprofessional teamwork with other professional categories.
• Assessment of cognition and activity ability in hospitalized patients.
• Promotion of activity ability and prescription of aids as compensatory measures.
• Rehabilitation of patients of various ages with newly acquired illness or injury, primarily neurological conditions, within day rehab.
• Training and assessment of activity and cognitive ability.
• Opportunity to participate in a newly started team for stroke home rehabilitation.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed occupational therapist
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage for the position if you

• Have relevant work experience in the field
• Have previously worked in a hospital
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
