Medicine/Geriatrics/Emergency Örnsköldsvik is part of the northern primary care area. The medical clinic in Örnsköldsvik has about 35 doctors. The clinic operates in several subspecialties (cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, neurology, and geriatrics). We are now looking for two residents specializing in internal medicine.

We have experienced colleagues and a good collaborative climate. The clinic also trains medical candidates in addition to colleagues in training (e.g., AT/BT doctors). You are expected to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students as well as less experienced colleagues and participate in collegial meetings.

The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

The main responsibilities include patient care, which means being responsible for medical investigations, assessments, and treatments of patients. The role also includes administrative work. You will participate in on-call duties and work in a team with physician colleagues and other professionals.

As a resident physician at the medical clinic, you will participate in on-call work, which includes night shifts, evenings, and weekends. You will serve as a junior doctor in the department and also participate in the clinic's outpatient activities. You are expected to participate in teaching and mentoring younger colleagues such as AT/BT.

We place great importance on personal suitability and expect you to handle patient meetings and collaboration with colleagues in a respectful, professional, and patient-safe manner. As a person, you are structured and plan your work effectively. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and take into account the larger perspective in your actions and decisions.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician who has completed AT or is a licensed physician who has completed BT
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
