If you are interested in pre-hospital care, are a nursing assistant or a nursing student with four semesters completed by the summer of 2026, then perhaps the position of patient transport provider at the ambulance in Sollefteå is the summer job for you.

As a patient transport provider, you will independently - and where applicable through teamwork - perform patient transports according to orders from SOS Alarm. The regional service will provide the necessary introduction and training for you to carry out your duties.

There may be good opportunities for extension and continued work in the ambulance after internal training. The position is a temporary position over the summer of 2026, full-time, with start date according to agreement.

The main task is to perform both sitting and lying patient transports for patients with care needs that do not require an ambulance. As a patient transport provider, you will also work closely with the emergency ambulance service, which will involve collaboration on several assignments. You will work largely independently, but teamwork will occur with other transport providers or with ambulance crews during transfer situations and collaboration alarms. As part of the ambulance service, you, as a patient transport provider, will be able to be alerted to provide life-saving first aid during emergency calls, such as cardiac arrest, while waiting for the ambulance.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a nursing assistant education or has completed semester 4 of the nursing program by the summer of 2026
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
