The medical unit at the surgical clinic in Sundsvall is looking for 2 junior doctors for full-time summer positions in our surgical wards, KAVA, wards 15A and 15B, during the summer of 2026, weeks 24-33. You will be an important support in the daily work of the medical team with inpatients in general surgery, vascular surgery, and urology. The operations include both emergency and elective care.

You will be placed on the ward alongside a senior colleague and will always work under supervision. An introduction will take place on-site on the first working day.

On-call duties with daytime work as a junior doctor in the same surgical wards on weekends are included in the position.

The job responsibilities include participation in daily rounds and ward work with investigation and treatment as well as admission and discharge of patients.

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed semester 10 of the medical program by the summer of 2026
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience working as a junior doctor or have worked in another healthcare-related profession
