The position is located at Furubacken in Fränsta, which is your main workplace where you have an office. The assignment includes work within the municipality's special accommodations, short-term care, and dementia activities. As an occupational therapist, you will, among other things, conduct activity assessments of patients and perform occupational therapy measures to facilitate daily activities, which requires flexibility and creativity. You will also prescribe assistive devices, guide staff, and work with writing certificates for housing adaptation grants. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, managers, and nursing assistants. It is therefore beneficial if you have experience working in multiprofessional teams. A large part of the work consists of guidance and providing instructions. We therefore value good pedagogical skills.

You are a licensed occupational therapist with the ability to see the whole picture and collaborate with other professional groups. We consider it an advantage if you have work experience as a practicing occupational therapist, but we also welcome applications from recent graduates. A driver's license and computer skills are required.
