The County Hospital Somatics coordinates the county's healthcare for specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven county healthcare operations. These operations are conducted at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as several clinics located in various towns throughout the region. The area has approximately 2,400 employees.

We are now looking for a resident physician for the Ear-Nose-Throat department in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement.

The main job responsibilities are:

• medical investigations
• surgeries, both outpatient and in central surgery
• assessments
• treatment of patients in both outpatient and inpatient care.

After an introduction, you will participate in the on-call line that covers all of Region Västernorrland. This means working during evenings, nights, and weekends. You will work with physician colleagues within the specialty as well as with other professions/specialties. The role also includes administrative work. To meet the ST goals within ENT diseases, parts of the position will be located at a university hospital, primarily Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå. The position includes courses and time allocation for fulfilling the goals of the ST training, as well as requirements for improvement and research work.

We are looking for someone who

• is a licensed physician
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• have work experience from an Ear-Nose-Throat clinic
