The regional psychiatric and habilitation care coordinates the regional healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and habilitation in Region Västernorrland. The regional healthcare services are conducted at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as at several outpatient clinics located in various towns across the region. The area has approximately 700 employees.

Ward 51 is a psychiatric intensive care unit (PIVA). You will meet a serious and positive workgroup that sees the person behind the illness, where the guiding principles are engagement, safety, empathy, respect, and attentiveness. The ward primarily cares for individuals under the Act on Involuntary Psychiatric Care (LPT).

We are now looking for a nurse for the psychiatric ward 51 in Sundsvall! The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Nurse for Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit 51, Sundsvall

As a nurse on ward 51, you will work in a stimulating work environment with varied tasks.

• In patient-centered work, you will guide and support patients in discovering and developing their own resources and managing the symptoms of their illness.

The work is both exciting and varied, where you will work independently as well as be part of a multidisciplinary psychiatric care team with good cohesion. With us, you will have the chance to develop your skills as a team player while also making independent decisions. The work here is perfect for you if you enjoy juggling multiple tasks.

If you are a newly graduated nurse when you start with us, you will participate in an in-depth introductory program that lasts throughout your first year. The program is designed to help you feel secure in your new professional role and contribute to a good start in your personal and professional development with us. The program includes practical training, theory, and joint reflection.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have additional language skills
